Hostler transported to Australia

Francis Willis, who had previously been a soldier, had found work looking after the horses at the White Hart in Brentwood. In February 1740 he stole some money off of his uncle, claiming his uncle had died and left it to him. He was caught and tried for theft, found guilty, and transported to Australia.
