A hand painted sign on The Brentwood Mart, a junk shop and second hand furniture store on New Road. The building was demolished to make way for the Bay Tree Centre. The owner, Edward Knowles, helped organise many people from the town to object to this, although their efforts were ultimately unsuccessful.
